Livigno

The mountain town of Livigno enjoys the status of a duty free area that has become a famous for shopping.

During the winter there are many people who reach the location for a holiday in the snow. The winter tourist facilities are excellent and also the high altitude (the center of the town is located 1816 m above sea level with slopes up to 2,800 meters in areal center-Alpine) in Livigno allows you to easily have the best snow conditions, using only occasionally artificial snow, which is instead now a necessity for many of the other winter holiday resorts.

During the summer season there are plenty of vacationers who take advantage of the duty-free area to shop or who have been attracted by the altitude of the place, leaving the hot and muggy city to take refuge in the cool climate of Livigno. This town is in fact also known as "Little Tibet", because of the geomorphological features of the site, which are partly similar to those of the Himalayas.
